Immediately After CoolSculpting

Once you have completed your CoolSculpting treatment, you may already return to your normal activities — even work and exercise. However, know that the treated area will feel and look stiff right after the procedure. You do not have to fret though. This feeling is only temporary and only lasts about 10 minutes. Some redness will be present too but will dissipate after 20 minutes. On the other hand, the treated site may have some bruising and tenderness that will resolve only after a few weeks. Consult your doctor on how you can alleviate these symptoms.

Days to Weeks After CoolSculpting

Do not be surprised to see some mild redness for a few minutes to hours after CoolSculpting. In some cases, severe redness can even occur until about a few days. Know that this is normal, but it is important to give your doc a heads-up if symptoms persist for more than two weeks. These side effects also include some tingling or cramping sensations.

As the weeks following your procedure go by, you can already experience a gradual reduction in the thickness of the treated area’s fat layer. In about two to four months, a reduction in fat is already noticeable and measurable.
