If you wish to receive treatment on the entire face, sedation will be used. The treatment can last anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours.
After 24 hours this area must be cleaned four to five times a day and an ointment will need to be applied to prevent scabs. Most patients see healing after 10 to 21 days, depending on how large the area is. It is normal for the skin to stay pink for three to four months, but a week after treatment patients can begin to apply makeup to the area.
